I thought I would share with you my secret to keeping my workout interest. 🙂 For me, all of it keeps me interested…however, I realize for most this is not the case! Have you ever listened to a super up-tempo song and REALLY listened? There are 4 counts of 8 in a song. What I love to do is this: First, find songs that keep ya movin’ and shakin’..(Alive by Krewella is a good one..so is Sweat by Snoop Dogg and David Guetta)… the ones that you could workout to all the time. Second, grab a jump rope, or jump in place to the first 4 counts of 8. On the beginning of the next 4 counts..switch quickly to jumping jacks. Switch then, on the next 4 counts, to knee highs (knees to chest)…DO ALL TO THE EXACT BEAT OF THE SONG! Get creative with your moves! I don’t give much thought to which move I do next just GO WITH IT! I do this for a whole song in between sets. But you can do this anywhere at anytime for a quick mood lift, spike in metabolism throughout the day or when you are tired..This will DEF wake you up HAHA .. HAPPY WORKOUT! <3
